Cosafe mobile app together with Apple watch
Updated over a week ago

Cosafe is a mobile application and we therefore recommend using the app primarily on a mobile phone. If you want to receive notifications via an Apple Watch due to certain circumstances, it is important to go through the notification settings yourself and then test the alarm, as the settings may differ for different devices. Some settings that may be useful to check are described below:

  1. Go to Settings on both devices and select "Notifications".

  2. Scroll through the list of apps and select the app you want to receive notifications from.

  3. On iPhone: make sure that "Allow notifications" and "Important alerts" are enabled.

  4. On Apple Watch: make sure "Allow notifications" is enabled and specify how you want to receive notifications from this app.

Note: Make sure you have enabled "Mirror iPhone" mode on your Apple Watch, so that you can receive notifications on both devices. You can find this by going to the Watch app and selecting "My Watch/My Watch" > "Notifications" and enabling "Mirror iPhone".

Notifications/Alarms:

Receive notifications for messages on your watch and phone

- Watch settings (notification mode on; do not disturb mode off)
- Phone settings (notification mode on; do not disturb mode off)

Note on notifications: notification messages are displayed and audio message is played on the watch. Only notification is received and displayed on the phone.

Note on alerts: Regardless of settings, if the clock reflection is turned off, only the iPhone will display a visual and audio alert. Alarm notifications will not be received on the watch if Notification Mirroring is turned off for the watch.

Once you have checked the settings above, it is important to test the alarm on your device to ensure that you are receiving the alarm signal as desired. If you are unsure how to test the alarm on your device, please read the following article: Testing the alarm
