What is CEC?

Cosafe External Communication is a function in Cosafe's platform for one-way communication of important information to all employees, external staff, suppliers and other external stakeholders.

This feature allows managers to quickly and efficiently send messages directly from Cosafe to hundreds of recipients simultaneously. Messages can be sent via SMS, voice messages or emails - or a combination of all and receive individual read receipts for each recipient.

How to use CEC?

CEC is an additional service that can be ordered support@cosafe.se. When this service is activated, settings can be made in the Cosafe admin panel.


Authorized administrator in Cosafe imports contact lists into the Cosafe admin panel. The administrator then decides which Cosafe users will be able to send messages to these recipient groups.

The administrator can also create pre-made templates in the Cosafe admin panel that can be used to send out messages to selected recipient lists, with just a few clicks of a button

How is the set-up of the CEC done?

Email the CEC order to support@cosafe.se, with the following information:

  1. Audio file in MP3 format:

    If you want the recipients to be contacted via a voice message, you can provide a pre-recorded voice message that plays when the user receives the phone call.

  2. Name of the SMS sender:

    Enter the desired name of the sender of the SMS, for example: Company AB. The name of the sender can be up to 11 alphanumeric characters.

  3. Name of e-mail sender:

    Enter the desired name for the email, for example: Company Ltd.

  4. Email subject line:
    Enter the subject you want to be displayed in the received email, for example: Important message.
